About ElderWatch Plus Adult Day Services

ElderWatch Plus is a not for profit agency committed to meeting the physical emotional and social needs of our participants. Our caring staff come from diverse backgrounds, life and work experiences. This variety of skills and experiences complement the unique needs and personalities of each of our participants. All staff is dedicated to our mission, providing care for our participants with the dignity and respect they so richly deserve.

Our Space

ElderWatch Plus began in 1996 with 8 participants and 2000 square feet of space. Today, 15 years later we are licensed to serve 49 participants daily in our expanded space of 5600 square feet.

There are several partitioned areas for small and large group activities. Our participants join peers with similar interests and abilities for discussions, gross motor activities, crafts and games. Our fully equipped kitchen is used for food service and cooking activities.

The secured front porch is wonderful for horseshoes and bocce, card games, and box gardening, but best of all we love people watching.

ElderWatch Plus is built in a circular design to enable participants who wander to be supervised wherever they go. Our touch pad door system prevents anyone from entering or leaving the Center without staff knowledge.

Licenses, Funding and Payment

ElderWatch Plus is licensed by the PA Department of Aging.  We are service providers for Aging Waiver, and OPTIONS programs for Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware Counties and Consolidated Waiver (under 60) consumers. Philadelphia and Coatesville VA contract services us as well.

We will be happy to assist to you in making application and reviewing criteria for funding eligibility.

For Participants Paying Privately: ElderWatch Plus will help you create a schedule that is flexible, beneficial, and affordable. We have a partial day and full day rates. Transportation is available.

ElderWatch Plus is a clinical education
site for Occupational Therapy students from Temple University, Philadelphia University, Harcum College, and USP,
and Drexel University’s Creative Arts in Therapy program.  In addition, we offer volunteer opportunities for local high
school programs.
