The Admission Process

A phone call is all we need to begin the admission process, our number is 215-877-0202. Make a list of all you questions and try to call when you'll have a few minutes to talk. This first phone call maybe be as quick as planning a visit time. It can also be an opportunity to discuss your special circumstances and needs, gather information about our program and get information about other available resources.

All people joining are program are required to have a face to face meeting prior to admission. That meeting is typically about 1 hour. During that meeting, the potential participant will be invited to join an activity group, while the caregiver or responsible party meet with the Director and Center Nurse. We will assist you in completing some required paperwork, discuss individual care needs and give you a tour of our Center. Our Nurse will also visit with the participant in the activity group. The group leader will help the participant feel at home and begin introductions. They will also be doing an informal evaluation of the particpant. If you are ready we will also review the Admission's Agreement.

All participants must have a current medical exam and Tuberculosis Test. We will give you these forms at your visit. Once the visit, paperwork, admissions agreement and medical forms are successfully completed, we are ready to begin. The admission process can be completed in as little as 48 hours.
