ElderWatch Plus provides services for participants from Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware County. We serve adults over the age of 18 and our ”most senior” seniors are well into their 90's. As each of us is unique, our participants have a variety of abilities, interests, needs and impairments.
Our participants typically include . . .
- Adults who should not be home alone during the day, because they may not recognize an emergency in the home or know what to do.
- Adults who, due to dementia, physical or intellectual challenges are lonely, frightened, frustrated or at risk for falling or wandering during the day.
- Adults who due to physical or cognitive change need help with "personal care" and activities of daily living (ADL's).
- Adults with medical problems who need their status, medications or diet monitored during the day.
- Adults who and are seeking a socially stimulating nurturing atmosphere, in an emotionally and physically safe environment.
- Adults in the early stages of memory loss who want to benefit from a program with therapeutic activities and cognitive stimulation.
- Adults with intellectual limitations who benefit from a highly structured active environment.
- Adults whose primary caregivers need respite during the day in order to work, meet other family or personal responsibilities and need time to take care of themselves.
